Welcome to Moorgate Talks
We’d love to meet you, whether you’d identify as a sceptic or believer.
We seek to know Jesus Christ better and make His message known among the local working population, through the Bible.
Fast-paced City life can prompt big questions about our purpose in life, and can be challenging for Christians trying to live for Jesus. Like lunchtime talks elsewhere, our aim is to get to the heart of the Christian faith, whether you’re looking into Christianity or committed already.
Lunchtime Talks
You are welcome to join us any Wednesday lunchtime to hear a short talk about Jesus from the Bible. 1pm for 1.10pm (sandwich lunch available) at The Flying Horse, 52 Wilson St, EC2 – find us upstairs.
Thirsty for God?
Are you wanting to go deeper into God’s Word, to know and love Jesus more and live out your faith in the City? Then the Thirsty for God Bible study groups are for you!
We meet on Thursdays with Aldersgate Talks at St Botolph’s Church, offering either a breakfast session (8-8:45am) or a lunchtime one (1:05-50pm).
You are welcome to come and try it out: email [email protected] for more information.
Prayer
We meet to pray every Wednesday morning, 8.15-8.45am, in a local coffee shop. Email [email protected] for more details.
Giving
Moorgate Talks is funded by Christians who regularly come. However, if you are looking into Christianity or you are just visiting, please be reassured that we are not after your money.
If you would like to support Moorgate Talks financially, please contact our treasurer at [email protected], or go to our giving page.
